Justification

As we saw with the Grace of God, it is God that justifies and he is the one that considers us righteous and gives us Grace. We come to him in Faith only, and he paid the price through his redemption and propitiation in his blood.

Romans 3:23-28
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being
justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; 25 whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed; 26 for the demonstration, I say, of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. 27 Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. 28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law.

Galatians 3:24-26
24 Therefore the Law has become our tutor to lead us to Christ, so that we may be justified by faith. 25 But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! In Romans 8 we see the work and purpose of God in full clarity, for he works all things out for the good to those who would love him! For those whom he foreknew! He Also Predestined!

There was never a time when God did not know who would love him, Never! It would be impossible for an Omniscient and all-knowing God to not know this!

Remember, in I Peter 1:17, “If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one’s work”. Yes, God is impartial and he uses his foreknowledge in the predestination process exactly as the Early Church has taught from the beginning, as you will see in their writings.

We can see then what God did for he was the one that Called according to his purpose, he also justified, he also glorified.

Romans 8:28-30
28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren; 30 and these whom He predestined, He also called; and these whom He called, He also justified; and these whom He justified, He also glorified.
